“A fabulous, unique & refreshing stay at trafalgar house, Torquay..”

We stayed at this wonderful find over the August bank holiday and were really most impressed. As keen travellers this had a totally different feel to five star chain hotels- but all the same quality. Graham & Barbara were wonderful hosts, and accomodating to all their guests needs to ensure they had a great trip. The premises were always immaculate, secure and the rooms were light and comfortable. Our first time in Torquay they talked us through the maps and gave us directions (which we're pretty terrible at!) to everywhere we wanted to see so that we made the most of our trip. I was really impressed and we hope to return with family & friends soon! Trafalgar house is really a testament to all their hard work

“Outstanding B&B”

I visited Torquay for a conference and choose this B&B at random. I'm glad I did as I was very impressed. It was clean, tidy and much more than you could ask for from a B&B. The hosts Graham & Barbara were very welcoming and helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They clearly take pride in their business. With me not being familiar with the area, Graham advised me of the best places to visit for drinks and food and he was spot on with his advice. The location itself is ideal. Although in a seemingly quiet part of Torquay, it is an easy stroll down to the main part of town and the marina. The breakfast was excellent, lots of fresh fruit and cereals available and a wonderfully cooked breakfast. Again nothing was too much trouble. Very highly recommended.

“What a welcome - a fantastic and enjoyable stay”

My wife is disabled and is in a wheelchair. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a tray of wecoming tea served on a tray in their lovely lounge. We were treated with respect all the way - the groundfloor room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and then a choie of a full English (to die for!) or scrambled eggs and Salmon, eggs on toast etc. We will be back again to stay, but this time for a longer visit. A very clean and welcoming home from home.
