“Lovely B&B, charming hosts”

We drove into Torquay on Thurs, March 17 without knowing much about the town or where to stay. We chose Trafalgar House based on other recommendations on TripAdvisor and they didn't let us down. This B&B is located close to the Abbey and within walking distance of the harbour and downtown. The B&B was newly renovated, clean and furnished very nicely, and we stayed in one of the nicest (and largest) rooms throughout our entire visit in the UK. The owners were very warm and friendly, and had lots of great advice about places to visit, dine, etc. while in Torquay. The breakfast dining area had fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and a full breakfast menu with lots of options. We would definitely stay here again and we've recommended this B&B to all our ex-pat friends looking to head back for a visit.

“what a delight!”

Lovely welcome, lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast (with choices). Graham and Barbara, our hosts, could not have been friendlier and truly spoilt us, making our stay a special one. Could not recommend it more! A pleasant stroll down to the sea front and town, with plenty of options for dining and relaxing nearby. Overall, a luxurious B+B, full marks to the owners. Wendy and Roger from Southampton.

“A gem of a B&B...”

We were welcomed by Graham & Barbara with a lovely cup of tea and piece of cake after our long journey. Throughout our stay we found them to be great hosts. We stayed in room 7, which was large, bright and clean with a lovely comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent, every need was catered for and the full english was one of the best we've ever had. Excellent location for exploring South Devon and the coastal walks. All in all a wonderful long weekend and we will most certainly be back. * Stayed January 2011, travelled as a couple

“Nice Place to Stay”

The Trafalgar House is on a nice quiet residential street with offstreet parking. We had a fine room and the service was great. Graham and Barbara are very personable and will help you with your restaurant and sightseeing plans. The breakfasts were great. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

“Excellent hosts, fantastic breakfast couldn't ask for anything more!!!”

We visited Torquay for a relaxing weekend break. When we arrived at Trafalgar House, we were greeted by Graham, who was brilliant, he told us about the local area, what to see and do, and places to eat ect. Our room was lovely, spacious and decorated to a high throughout. We had a nice bathroom and shower. All of which were spotlessly clean when we arrived and everyday. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, a large selection of fruit and cereals to choose from, accompanied by a delicious cooked breakfast, perfect start to the day. The marina and town are in easy walking distance,so we didnt use the car during our whole stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and will definately be back again. A big Thankyou Graham an Babara.

“if you want cleanliness, friendliness and value for money stay at Trafalgar House”

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was like home from home. Brian advised us of some excellent eating places from restaurants to tea rooms. Angels in Babbacombe is a must for the best cream tea in Devon. Our room was spotless with lovely white sheets and fluffy white towels. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk and yummy biscuits and even little chocolates. We will miss the variety of food on offer at Breakfast especially all the fresh fruit. We will definitely return and would recommend to all our friends and family.
