About Artist Madison Marie Hope

Madison Marie Hope is the owner of “Thunderbird Mural & Design” in central Texas. She hand-paints custom designs and logos for clients on large-scale walls for businesses and homes. She was born in the mountains of Utah and grew up riding horses and exploring mountains and desert. Inspired by the history and grit of the American West, she uses oil paints to recreate images of wildlife and people of the past. She knew from an early age that she had a passion to create art and that the foundation of her life would be built upon one promise to herself: To create art with purpose for “as long as I shall live.” Told by those around her that she was “born with an old soul,” Madison has always defiantly believed in her dreams. She paints and sketches, she says, to capture “moments in time that should never be forgotten.”Madison loves her two dogs and the outdoors, with a passion for snowboarding, hiking, camping, horses, and hunting/fishing. She says “it all “breathes through her work” as each piece represents a part of her. Madison won two awards in 2022 in the “Best-of-the-West” exhibit at the Eccles Center of Art in Ogden, Utah for the “People’s Choice Award” and “Honorable Mention.” Recently, she was featured in VoyageDallas magazine with an article about her art journey.Every day, Madison can be found with a paintbrush in her hand. “I feel blessed to be a full-time artist,” and says, “and I simply cannot wait to see where life and the art industry take me in the future.”

Dawn & Hawkes Family Band

House of Fifi Dubois:123 S Chadbourne

7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Miranda Dawn and Chris Hawkes first met when he crossed an Austin barroom floor and asked her to dance. The first time they sang together they found a sound Texas Monthly calls “undeniably intimate”.Their initial duo effort, Golden Heart, climbed to No. 25 in Billboard’s Folk chart and landed at No. 2 in iTunes singer-songwriter albums and kicked off a whirlwind of cross-country touring and co-writing. Dawn and Hawkes recorded their second album, Yours and Mine, in between tour dates with influential artists Alison Krauss & Dan Tyminski, Patty Griffin, Old 97s, Robert Earl Keen and showcasing at festivals like Austin City Limits, Folk Alliance, AmericanaFest, South By Southwest and TEDx on tours in the US and abroad in Denmark, Germany and Australia. “We’d tour, come home inspired, record a song, tour, rinse and repeat” explains Dawn. Acoustic Guitar hails the musicality of Yours and Mine, as “Impeccable vocal harmonies and instrumentation” Huffington Post summarizes “Transcendent alternative-folk — you will find yourself craving more from this amazing, dynamic duo.”While touring, the duo stored their possessions and lived on the road, drawing a lyrical soundtrack from American deserts and mountains, to the South Australian coast while navigating a shared journey through mortality, grief and compassion for differing perspectives. Upon returning to Austin, they finished self-producing their second full-length album, The Other Side. The Austin American Statesman calls it “10 new tracks of sweet folk-rock — instantly appealing tunes — rooted in the singer songwriter heyday of the early 1970’s, they also fit well into the modern-day indie-folk revival.”

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Purchase Tickets online HERE and by phone at Box Office 325-284-3825. Ticket Prices: $28.00-$75.00.

Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends will be at Murphey Performance Hall on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 8:00pm.

Liverpool Legends are four talented musicians and actors, handpicked by Louise Harrison – sister of George Harrison, to honor her brother’s legacy and re-create the band that changed the world forever. Experience the complete history of The Beatles, starting with the early mop-top hits, such as I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You and Twist and Shout. You’ll then take a Magical Mystery Tour down Penny Lane, through the psychedelic era of Sgt. Pepper. And in The End, Come Together and sing and dance to classics like Get Back, Here Comes the Sun and Hey Jude.

This one-of-a-kind Beatles show is narrated by Louise Harrison, and she was an instrumental part of the promotion of The Beatles in the early years. With precise attention to every musical detail, along with costume changes, vintage instruments and special effects, Liverpool Legends will make you feel like you are watching the real thing! Together, these four lads will bring you “The Complete Beatles Experience.”

Accomplishments for Liverpool Legends:

• Liverpool Legends was nominated for a Grammy Award for their work on “Fab Fan Memories” - a Beatles Bond.• Liverpool Legends have toured all over the world with sold-out performances in The U.S., Mexico, India, Israel, Ukraine, and South America.• Headlined the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA in front of 68,000.• Received national attention when they re-created The Beatles famed 1966 concert at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.• Headlined at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City where The Beatles performed in 1964.• Chosen over every other Beatles Tribute band in the world by top television and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure) to portray The Beatles.• Performed at The Cavern Club in Liverpool and recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London.• Received the Travelers’ Choice Award by TripAdvisor in 2023, placing Liverpool Legends in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.

Many tribute acts recreate the sound and the harmonies of the Fab Four, but Liverpool Legends takes it one step further. All four band members have mastered the looks, mannerisms, and the thick Liverpool accent, that makes the experience totally authentic. In addition, Liverpool Legends seem to “possess” the personalities of John, George, Paul and Ringo, which make the lighthearted banter with the audience irresistible!

“Hey, that’s you! I could spot John out anywhere! You make a great John!” – Paul McCartney

“Phenomenal in every way…it is pure magic!” – Jerry Bruckheimer

“It’s like shaking Mr. McCartney’s hand in person.” – Dick Biondi, legendary radio personality and first American DJ to play The Beatles record on the radio

Brodie Lane w/ AJ Vallejo

House of Fifi Dubois: 123 S Chadbourne

8:30 pm - 11:00 pm

It can easily be said that BRODIE LANE is a direct product of the 2020-2021 pandemic, as venues, tours & the world halted to a complete stop, eviscerating live music & artists’ existence. Formed by Austin, TX veteran songwriter/vocalist/guitarist AJ Vallejo, the band naturally came together by default with the city mostly in shutdown from jam sessions to pass the slowed time with long-time drinking buddies & neighbors, Ray Kainz (guitar), Alex Geismar (drums), & Joe Fladger (bass). An award-winning producer on his own merit, AJ had written & recorded somewhere around 30 life-inspired songs of love & chaos during the shutdown. These songs became the catalyst for the group to start bringing to life with their undeniable chemistry & collective well-versed knowledge on how to build a dangerous musical force. It wouldn’t take long before the public took notice of the band’s determination & grit with their fiery live shows and dominance in music video & media content determinably promoting their self-proclaimed ‘Hot Dirt Music’, a mix of roots-rock, alt country & southern rock.“Radio-ready singles like their timely #4 Texas & Regional Radio 2021 quarantine-love-anthem, “Stuck With You” and their current 2nd single “Come Home To You” cracking the Top 30 are clear indicators that Brodie Lane is the road we all want to be on now that the world is back open for business.” -AustinLive
