How much is Kingmaker Foundry VTT? ›

To thank the Pathfinder community for their patience as we work to complete the release of Kingmaker for Foundry VTT, we have decided to offer a discount during the initial launch period. For a limited time, those who purchase this premium content module will receive it at a price of $100 USD (regular $120USD).

Go to the Purchase page. Foundry Virtual Tabletop individual licenses cost $50 (plus tax). If you have access to a Discount Code (typically for being a Patreon supporter of Foundry), you should apply it before purchasing. More details on that below.

This officially recognized game system was created and is maintained by the PF2e For Foundry VTT volunteer development team, and is published for free with the endorsem*nt of Foundry Gaming LLC.

On the game master's side, Foundry VTT is a one-time purchase for DMs that lets them download the software and host a server for an unlimited number of players, who access it via a link. There is only one purchase tier, which includes all existing Foundry VTT features, all future updates, and no subscription fees.

Foundry Virtual Tabletop is a one time purchase with no subscription fees or feature gating.

Foundry is free for everyone except the game master. So, to host a game, you must pay a one-time $50 fee to get the VTT license. After that, you'll have full access to the app—no need to spend on micro-transactions, season passes, or other expenses. And if you're just a player, you don't have to spend anything at all.

In a self-hosted configuration, Foundry runs on your own computer or another computer on your local home network, usually using the pre-packaged Electron app. Players then connect directly to that computer in order to play the game.

The vector based editor in combination with our vast library of high resolution assets allows you to create highly detailed maps for use on screen or print.

You may install and activate the software on one or more computers, but only one hosted instance of the software may be accessible to users other than the license owner at any given time.

In terms of mechanics and quality of life improvements, WotR is vastly better than Kingmaker. You don't need a mod to rotate the camera this time. You can order your party members to chug potions until they are fully healed (instead of drinking them one by one).

Pathfinder: Kingmaker for Foundry Virtual Tabletop contains all content from the Kingmaker adventure path, including: All adventure text organised into hundreds of pages of hand-formatted and interlinked journal pages.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a decent time-waster for fans of Pathfinder lore and gameplay, but it fails to replicate the tabletop experience or to improve upon the core system.

When focusing on the main objectives, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is about 76½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 200 Hours to obtain 100% completion.
